The new Trailblazer comes loaded with one of two turbocharged three-cylinder power plant options to motivate you down the highway.
The first is a peppy 1.2-liter that makes 137-horsepower through front-wheel-drive and featuring a seamless continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The second is a 1.3-liter that makes 155 horses and comes with an optional all-wheel drive with the same excellent CVT system.
Both are fantastic on gas, with the base engine getting up to 33 miles-per-gallon and the 1.3-liter earning just over 30mpg. That means that not only will you save money on the Trailblazer’s ultra-low sticker price (starting around $20k), but you’ll also save yourself tons of coin on gas for as long as you own the vehicle.
The Trailblazer features a spacious cabin that can fit you and your crew comfortably, with a higher front-seat position creating more room in the back than you might think.
It also features Chevy’s most modern infotainment system.
A 7.0-inch touchscreen unit is standard, upgradable to an optional 8.0-inch screen. Both allow for multiple devices to be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth simultaneously, both feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and both come with SiriusXM satellite radio options. An additional technology package allows for further wireless connections thanks to a smartphone interface.
And with automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning standard, and adaptive cruise control optional, you’ll be in the safest hands.
